In a significant administrative move, Ranjit Pal Singh has been appointed as the Chairman of the Punjab State Traders Commission Deptt. (Excise & Taxation). Having a solid background in trade and administrative matters, Mr. Singh would be inclined to streamline excise and taxation procedures and address long-standing concerns of traders. The Commission plays an influential role in the state government on trader welfare and policy reform issues, and the holders of interests are optimistic that his leadership will lead to more transparency, more efficient grievance redressal, and a friendlier business environment in the entire region.
